Congress Hotel Weimar By Mercure - Weimar (Thuringia)

I stayed one night in a Standard Double Room. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was really good. A decent experience for a quick stay.

I was travelling across Germany and western Europe by car with my son who is 11 years of age. This hotel was one of the cheapest we stayed it but the very best for comfort, facilities and value for money. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the autobahn so easy to find and we had a car but was quite far our of Weimar city.

There was nothing I could fault

Rooms spotlessly clean and good breakfast buffet

I booked two rooms including breakfast well in advance to take advantage of an offer and my credit card was debited immediately. On arrival at the hotel there was then some discussion whether or not breakfast was included in the price - this was solved fairly quickly. The restaurant was always very busy at breakfast and there were not always tables available or set for our group of four.

The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety while the peaceful location provided a relaxing atmosphere. The staff seemed overwhelmed during peak times, leading to delays in service.

Great swimming pool and nice spa! Friendly guest reception. Nice hotel lobby. Great facilities such as free bicycles (but there are no baby seats so beware for families that need this facility). Ample parking space.

There was no fan or air conditioner in the room that we were given and it got very warm during the night - I could barely sleep.

Excellent value, but very isolated

Loved the spacious room, but the bathroom was pretty dirty on arrival.

Exploring Weimar 🇩🇪

Super lekker location, just a quick drive to the city. The bar was such a jol with live music, met some real chommies. Reception was sharp-sharp, really friendly guys!

But the breakfast service was a bit of a mess, had to find my own table and staff could've smiled a bit more, ag man.

The location in a really quiet area was easy and there were a market and a little shop nearby. There was an outdoor restaurant nearby. The service was very good, including a savoury and rich breakfast with very good hot coffee...

Near the A4, large parking lot, easy to get in and out, 24/7 check in/out, nice rooms and very good breakfast

A comfortable bed ensured a good night's rest, and the breakfast buffet had an excellent spread, including fresh fruit salads. The buffet dinner, while fair in price, lacked excitement and could be improved in flavor. Transportation options are vital for exploring the area, as the location is a bit isolated from the main attractions.

Internet is not free! They charge you for bathrobe. Weimar-Legefeld is not Weimar!!

A lovely hotel on the outskirts of Weimar . There is a bus however only hourly so you really need a car to visit the city. Excellent breakfast . Would certainly stay again.
